Chamomile

German chamomile is happy living in the sun, growing best in light soil. It blooms prolifically of daisy like blossoms and is the best species for herb teas.

Chives

(Allium - Asian)

Used as a garnish or on their own when onions would be too obtursive. Like many other herbs, chives contain calcium, which strengthen nails and teeth. Chives have an onion flavour but leave no trace of odour.

Marjoram

(Origanum majorana)

Although sweet marjoram is somewhat similar to oregano they have signifigant differences in flavour, leaf colour and texture. Marjoram leaves are velvet-soft, sweetly aromatic and a soft grey green colour. Grow the plants in average, well drained soil in a sunny position, with some shade in the afternoon during the hottest part of Summer.
